Tali Cosplay from Mass Effect by organicarmor Tali Cosplay from Mass Effect by organicarmor
These are armor pieces for a Tali cosplay (from Mass Effect) made of Organic Armor - an amalgam of latex, various textiles and acrylic paint. See the character here [link] This took about 3 months to make. Paul had to work out many engineering issues to make things comfortable and hang correctly through normal movement. It's tricky when the client lives 1000 miles away. Luckily I was about her size. It was a fun challenge (we love making custom cosplay pieces).

How much would a set like the one you've made here cost?

About 1500.00, not including the undergarment. It's a lot I know, but it took about 100 hours to make.

If I had that kind of money, I would hire you in an instant. As it stands, however, I will just need to make do on my own. ^^;

I find that every one else that does the helmet approach has the proportions wrong. The mask attempts always leave a little detail out. You may very well have hit the sweet spot between the two to add the detail with out the awkward proportions.

Thanks. Paul studied every image he could find very carefully. The helmet took 40+ hours with a couple of false starts.
